When the Day Changes, God Hasn’t

Sharing Our Family With Yours

Some mornings begin with a plan. Then a phone call comes, the schedule changes, or a small problem turns into a bigger one. Before long, the day looks nothing like the one we imagined.

We can hold plans loosely

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledge Him in our ways. That doesn't mean every change feels easy. It means we don't have to face the unexpected alone.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is pause, pray for wisdom and take the next right step. Not ten steps. Just the next one.

Today, if your plans unravel, remember this: a changed schedule doesn't mean a wasted day. There may still be grace, laughter and something good waiting in the middle of it.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

A simple prayer: Lord, give us patience for the unexpected and eyes to notice Your goodness. Amen.
